After sometime away this is what’s on the easel at the moment. This piece is not quite finished.

It is the first painting I’ve produced that tries to fuse formal abstract expressionism techniques with more traditional straight abstract expressionist methods. I’ve also introduced z ordering for all you programmers out there

This painting is going to fail but I have high hopes the methodology is sound and will usher in a new series of paintings.

Well, here’s one of those paintings, a little battered and scarred because its the doorway to some new work. This is pure abstract expressionism, nothing formal about it. A study of the self!
